Removal of an unauthorized encampment and remediation of a federal training area for Defence Construction Canada.
Westland removed an unauthorized encampment from a Department of National Defence range training area near Chilliwack and restored the site, working under a Defence Construction Canada contract. The scope covered hazardous-material handling, site clean-up and disposal, ground restoration and the installation of concrete block barriers to prevent re-entry, with daily hazard assessments and manpower reporting throughout.
